This class is a science credit introducing students to Motion, Force, Heat, and Waves.

Course Description: This required course concentrates on the basics of physics. Areas include metrics, motion, force, acceleration, power, heat, simple machines, waves, sound, light and optics. Electricity and magnetism are also included. Students engage in numerous laboratory experiments as well as projects. The basic skills in scientific mathematics are stressed.
